Orbea Bikes

Orbea bikes is one of two spanish cycling brands (the other being BH) that emerged out of the weapons industry in the city of Eibar in Spain. Like BH the company began using their expertise in steel to start manufacturing bikes in the aftermath of the first world war. In the early days the company built their reputation from the performance of their team, including the legendary Mariano Cañardo.

Re-entering racing proper in the 80s the team found success within both road and mountain disciplines – success that has continued well into the new century.

Current road models include the Orca Aero, Orca, Avant and Terra.
