Giant Bikes

Giant was established in 1972 Taiwan by King Liu. Originally an OEM manufacturer producing bikes for the Schwinn bike brand, it wasn’t until the late 80s that Giant started producing bikes under their own brand on the path to becoming the world’s largest bike manufacturer. Since then the company has invested heavily in research and development, particularly in carbon fibre manufacturing.

As one of the world’s largest bike brands, the team has been heavily involved in racing and is the current bike provider for Team CCC.

Current road models include Defy, Propel and TCR as well as the women’s specific Liv range.
