George Joannou founded Jamis Bicycles and is now run by his daughter Carine. Their first bike was a beach cruiser called the Earth Cruiser which is still made today. There venture into road bikes wasn’t until 1988 with the introduction of the Eclipse and Quest.

Recently launching their newly redesigned disc brake edition of the Xenith. The rim break version of the Xenith is used by the Canadian Continental Silber Pro Cycling team.

Current models include the Icon, Quest, Renegade, Supernova, T2X.
