Specialized
Specialized started as an importer of hard to find Italian bicycle parts to the US, but soon turned to manufacturing themselves – first starting with tyres. While the brand is very closely linked to the world of mountain biking, they have been heavily invested in road cycling from the outset, being early adopters in carbon fibre and wind tunnels. Teams riding Specialized bikes have been some of the most heavily decorated in history, including in the 2018 Tour de France with the QuickStep Floors and Bora-Hansgrohe teams.
Current road models include Allez, Crux, Diverge, Roubaix, Ruby, Tarmac and Venge.
