The Kryptonite Keeper 755 Mini is one of Kryptonites smaller chain locks, coming with a 7mm chain and only 55cm in length. The Keeper 755 Mini comes with a branded nylon sleeve for the chain and features a keyed tumbler lock rather than a combination lock.
Weighing in at just over 900g. The Keeper 755 is one of the lighter locks we’ve tested and isn’t super noticeable when slipped into a back pack – we generally ride with either a Camelbak MULE or an Osprey Talon when we’re commuting. 7mm is a pretty chunky for such a small chain and will take quite a bit of effort to break. The tumbler is also hardened to prevent casual interference. Of course the compromise with a smaller chain is that you’re only going to be able to secure either the wheel or frame – we couldn’t get it round both except on the smallest of the bikes on test.
Consider as a commuter lock, but get something longer for long term storage or home use.
